You cannot buy tickets at the palace. You need to buy your tickets online before your visit.
Please arrive 15 min. before the time stated on your ticket!
We do not recommend children under the age of 10 years on this tour. A regular ticket must be purchased for all children who join.
The tour is in English.
There is no student discount on this tour.
Cancellations may occur. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified directly and your ticket purchase will be refunded.
Backpacks and bags/handbags are not allowed in the castle.
PLEASE NOTE: This tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. This tour is not accessible to walking frames or prams inside the Palace.

Fredensborg Palace was built as a country seat for Frederik IV and was completed in 1722. Today, the palace is one of the Royal Family's most used residences outside Copenhagen. You can visit the impressive palace garden year-round, and in July, you can join an exclusive guided tour that takes you inside the royal residence and into the Royal Family's private part of the palace garden. Today, Fredensborg Palace Garden is one of Scandinavia's finest Baroque gardens, and after extensive renovation, it received the European Heritage Award.
